Winter State Central Committee Meeting  

In addition to our usual updates, this meeting will be an opportunity for committee members to assess the lessons learned from the last campaign and receive briefings on this year’s legislative session. The Democratic Caucus Chairmen in the State House and the State Senate have been invited to brief you on the legislative session and to answer your questions. The state party’s Affirmative Action and Delegate Selection Committee will provide an overview of the process that will be used to elect delegates to the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO. Finally the state party staff is preparing a polling presentation. This briefing, which will be closed to the press, will include data from the 2006 exit polls, internal polling conducted during the campaign and surveys of voter attitudes after the election.
