Laramie County Meet the Candidates Fair & Barbecue  

Most statewide candidates or their representatives, as well as many local candidates, will be at Holiday Park on Saturday, Aug. 12, for a "Meet the Candidates Fair and Barbecue," hosted by the Laramie County Democratic Grassroots Coalition." This event is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, at the picnic shelter in Holiday Park on East Lincolnway in downtown Cheyenne. An improv group is scheduled to entertain, and Terry Barbre is rumored to be bringing his bagpipes. Other festivities will include games, silent and live auctions, good food, and conversations with fellow Democrats. The cost of the event is $10 per person, but admission is free to any candidate as well as children under 12.
